So I had to write a narrative for my honors english class, turns out I really liked the plot and hope to make this short story into an actual story. Let me know what you guess think! I'm not sure how many votes I want to get until I decide but I'll let you guys know.
Fifteen year old Ayla's world turned upside down when the doctors diagnosed her with a rare cancer with a very small survival rate at the beginning of first semester. But that won't stop her from finishing the last two months of the school year with her friends. Ayla knows that she won't be the lucky few that survive and is ready. Well at least she thought she was until Ben entered her life. Now she's thinking that there might be something worth hanging on for.

"We have a 20-year-old female, suspected tension pneumothorax, possible hemothorax, and blunt abdominal trauma," Dr. Bellamy announced, his tone calm yet urgent. "Initial GCS is 8. Let's move!" Dr. Bellamy leaned over Vanessa, assessing her airway as the respiratory therapist set up intubation equipment. "Her airway is partially compromised," he said, noting the shallow rise and fall of her chest and the faint gurgle in her breaths. "We need to intubate. Suction ready?" The respiratory therapist nodded, inserting the laryngoscope with steady hands. Within seconds, the endotracheal tube was secured, and a nurse attached the ambu bag to ventilate. Dr. Bellamy listened with his stethoscope, confirming placement. "Good air entry on the right, none on the left." Vanessa, a med student with a troubled past, moves to Dublin for a fresh start at Trinity College. Her charisma and confidence quickly make her a standout, but beneath her sharp exterior lies a hidden past. The idea of this story has hit me square to the face when I watched one of my favorite novellas on television. Leslie Garcia has been a sweet little 9 year old girl and then her world is crushed when she finds out she suddenly has cancer. Everyone is worried and they are doing the best she can but just doesn't want it. Finally, a chance to see her dad again. She hasn't really been scared of death though sometimes it frightens her with curiosity about after life. Alex, her best friend, have known each other for a long time and he feels very protective over her like taking care of her, checking in on times, and keeping her away from the idiots at school who keep calling her names. Ashley, Leslie's older sister, has been crushed by the news and does not know what to do anymore. She is the one left taking care of Leslie but all she can do is cry and try not to let her think of death or any of that sort.Kumpleto
