So I had to write a narrative for my honors english class, turns out I really liked the plot and hope to make this short story into an actual story. Let me know what you guess think! I'm not sure how many votes I want to get until I decide but I'll let you guys know. Fifteen year old Ayla's world turned upside down when the doctors diagnosed her with a rare cancer with a very small survival rate at the beginning of first semester. But that won't stop her from finishing the last two months of the school year with her friends. Ayla knows that she won't be the lucky few that survive and is ready. Well at least she thought she was until Ben entered her life. Now she's thinking that there might be something worth hanging on for.

--So much on this earth is a miracle. But we fail to see them -- Two friends. One ceremony. One terrible accident. When Jade ended up with something life changing, she thought everything was over for her. And maybe it was. Someone can light a small flame of hope in everyone of us. But sometimes it turns into an inferno and burns us all. I had to write this for a school project and my friend said it was pretty good, so now I'm just "Jesus take the wheel" I got inspired by Disney's "Encanto", but the storyline and the characters are made by me. I first wrote this in 2022, and now, two years later I'm going over it again and again, slowly editing and stuff sooo...please be patient with me, my writing gets better, I swear. -OC short story, if anyone cares
