"One night, i concluded my house was definitely haunted. Things started moving, walls started creaking, i started hearing strange noises coming from my baby's baby monitor, and finally, i got attacked, poltergeist or whatever they call it."

"I and my family relocated to a new house, but they followed me to my new home. It doesn't matter where you go, it follows. You can't escape, you can't avoid them. Then it clicked and I realized, my house wasn't haunted, I WAS HAUNTED"

When a group of four friends embarks on a weekend trip to an abandoned mansion deep in the countryside, they expect adventure, laughter, and perhaps a few scares for fun. The Hawthorne Estate, infamous for its tragic history and eerie rumors, seems like the perfect destination for Amanda, the group's thrill-seeker. But what begins as an innocent getaway quickly turns into a descent into terror. As they explore the mansion, the friends discover that the house is far more than just a crumbling relic. Locked doors, shadowy figures, and disembodied whispers hint at a sinister presence lurking within the walls. An old journal reveals a chilling tale of a vengeful spirit trapped in the house after a botched ritual centuries ago. One by one, the mansion begins to unravel their minds, exposing their fears, secrets, and weaknesses. Strange phenomena escalate, and the friends soon realize they are not just visitors-they are prisoners. The house seems alive, manipulating time and space, ensuring no escape. Tensions rise as the group fractures under the weight of paranoia and supernatural interference. When one of them disappears, the survivors must unravel the mansion's dark secrets before it claims them all. Their only chance at survival lies behind a locked door in the basement, where the origin of the curse-and the malevolent force-awaits. In a climactic confrontation, they face the horrifying truth: the Hawthorne Estate feeds on fear, despair, and betrayal. The spirit's wrath is unrelenting, and the friends must decide whether to fight or succumb to the darkness. With an ambiguous ending that blurs the line between escape and doom, The Whispering Shadows explores the fragility of trust, the weight of guilt, and the inescapable power of the past. Liam left everything that he knew behind, his house, the neighborhood he lived in, and the city that he knew. Why? Because he needed a change. He needed a fresh start; he couldn't handle the gossips anymore, the neighbors whispering behind his back, the failed relationship that ended with a heartache for him and not his ex. He needed to be in a new area where no one knew what happened; no one knew the suffering he went through. So what does Liam do? He packs his things, sells his house, old furniture, and buys a new home in an area he's never even been in or heard of. Everything should go perfectly, right? This fresh start. Not quite, Liam has an unwanted guest in his new house, and this guest doesn't want to leave; she seems to be telling him that it's her house and not his. She's mistaken; this house was Liams. After all, he's purchased it for an excellent price and has moved all his new things in there. She's the one that needs to go, not him. So why is it that Liam is unable to kick her out of his home? Why is it that she won't leave?! or is it that she can't go. Strange things start to occur in Liam's new home, something that shouldn't be happening, spooky things, things that would happen in horror movies, and Liam doesn't know what to do. He starts to panic; he's the only one panicking; the unwanted guest, on the other hand, just stares at him with a smile as she throws her head back, letting out a chilling laugh. "We'll see who ends up leaving, because I am not going anywhere." She says.

Lacey and her friends just graduated from high school. To celebrate, they all go to a cabin owned by Lacey's family in the middle of nowhere and spend a few weeks there before they all go off their separate ways to college. It's supposed to be a fun, relaxing vacation, filled with parties and everything else they can imagine, but someone else outside their group has other plans. From missing local animals to strange noises and break ins, things continue to get worse until tragedy strikes. Can they make it out alive? Or will they all fall victim the one that hunts them in the dead of night? _____________________________________________ Excerpt: "Miss.." I heard from behind me. I turned around to see what he wanted. From the corner of my eye I saw his fist coming towards my face. I had no time to duck and was hit full force. Pain exploded behind my eyes and my vision went blurry. I started falling, but he caught me right before I hit the ground and picked me up. "I didn't want to hurt you." I heard him whisper right before I passed out.
