After The Uprising, the Lurwicks' lives were completely turned around along with the rest of The Group. Twin sisters Waverly and Willow are now the only family that they have. With the help of Waverly's boyfriend, Cameron, they've been left in charge of a group of elementals: The Group. Now five years after The Uprising, their lives have become as normal as it could possibly be for three 17 year-olds raising 29 other kids and teenagers. However, things begin to get out of control when the very group of people that killed the Lurwicks' friends and family come back to Boston. The Seekers aren't back for the twins, though, but rather for their supposed-to-be-dead older brother, Keegan. When the twins and Cameron stumble upon Keegan-who now goes by Jake for lack of remembering his real name or anything for that matter-they take him in as a fugitive hiding from The Seekers. Unfortunately, by helping Jake, The Group has become an enemy of The Seekers yet again and they now face an impending war between the two groups of elementals.

I wrote this story when I was a freshman in high school. It is horrible, but it was a story that all of my friends got to have input in and they encouraged me to finish it. A group of friends has their lives changed forever after they are kidnapped and experimented on.

7 boys were taken from an orphanage as children and experimented on. These experiments gave them abilities no man had and after being held in the facility, they fight back and escape. They go on the run, moving from place to play whenever their found, not making any close ties that would keep them in one place. Until they meet a certain bubbly personality that manages to sneak it's way into even the coldest of their hearts. With a reason to stay, to not run, they instead fight back to protect their family, their home and the clumsy boy who changed everything.

Phoenix O'Hara is the only known human immune to the non-violence effect of the TechWear society had recently been implanted with, meaning she is the only one who can physically harm someone. This results in her being placed at the head of a supernaturally-talented group of individuals, the Elite, whose main responsibility is to capture and Promote the Rogues (the humans without implants who wish to remain free from society) with TechWear. Phoenix is also the only Promo who is emotionally and physically numb as a result of her implant. Zero follows Phoenix as she and her team attempt to bring the remaining Rogues over to their side, willingly or otherwise. It is the story of an emotionally numb girl trying to find her path in life, even though that path prevents her from truly being with the only man she might have ever loved. His name is Reid Falcon, and his brother is the Rogue commander, responsible for the attacks on the Promoted.
