The Devil's Daughter (Devil's Right Hand MC #4), de Mack_2024
40 capítulos Concluída Maduro
Chrissy Martinez is lost, but not the kind of lost that a GPS will fix. She's the kind of lost that takes years of therapy or a trip to one of those spiritual retreats to fix. At 19, she had no idea what her place would be in the world, but she could manage. With her mama and sister by her side, she kept her head down and worked a shitty job to hold the family together. That is, until her whole life came crashing down when her mother died and she lost the safeguard of her home in the same week. Wandering lost in a world without her shepherd, she knows her snarky attitude or quick wit cannot save her from this, she needs a map. And maybe, just maybe, she finds the very map she needs while cleaning out her mother's closet. Maybe, that map is in the form of a birth certificate. ---------- Skillet Lawson is the club goofball. His reputation for inappropriate comments and deadly sarcasm make him a staple in the Franklin chapter of The Devil's Right Hand MC. To some, his child-like banter and carefree nature may seem immature, but to Skillet, this is the epitome of maturity. Nothing is more mature than seeing all the shit the world has to offer and sticking your middle finger up at it. His life is pretty damn good now. He's got everything he could ever want. But what happens when the mysterious girl with curly hair and a bag full of secrets catches his eye? Now, the man who never takes anything seriously develops serious feelings for the beauty with a secret identity, even though he knows he shouldn't. Can Skillet resist the gorgeous forbidden fruit? Or will he fall under the spell of the devil's daughter? ------ Disclaimer: This is the fourth book in my Devil's Right Hand Series. While I recommend reading these books in order, this can be read as a stand-alone.

Marco Raffaele Regnante is the man that has had it rough. Being taken away from his family and sold to a cartel in his early years. Then being forced to fend for himself and fight in an underground boxing ring before his teens. And finally...being thrown onto the road and left to die at the age of 12. He survived that day due to one reason alone, a group of boys saving his life. Now, nearly fifteen years later, having been adopted by the Regnante family, he has grown to be one hell of a man and the protege of the world's most ruthless Mafia Boss - who coincidentally happens to be one of the guys that saved him that day all those years ago - and his brother. Marco is a man for casual flings to sate his carnal desires, whereas his friends constantly attempt to set him up. Something which he finds irking because it's "Always flings. Never commitment." Now, throw into the mix, the 22-year-old Sofia Giordano, the Mafia daughter who was almost sold as a sex slave, and saved by the enemy, and further thrust onto Marco as his responsibility; a direct order from The Boss which he can't go against. He is a man that leaves for work at 9 a.m and returns late at 11 p.m, and all he wants is peace and quiet to help him unwind for the day. But with Sofia around, he can wave peace goodbye because that girl drags chaos with her wherever she walks. Something...which seriously tests usually patient Marco's limitations--which coincidentally happen to be wearing thin. After weeks and months of spending time together, they manage a routine and start to warm up to one another, and just when they think that things couldn't get any better, what happens when they find out Marco isn't who he claims to be? That he is not the man he thinks he is? And that his reality is far worse than what it actually seems? Forcing him to choose between what is right, and what he holds most dear

By the turn of the 21st century, cheating had become a global epidemic. Students from every background and corner of the world found ways to bend the rules just to pass their exams. For years, governments turned a blind eye-until the problem became impossible to ignore. In response, the United Nations took an unprecedented step: the creation of the International School for Cheaters (ISC). These specialized institutions were designed to reform the very students who had been caught cheating. But more than that, they trained them to become experts at identifying and catching others who slipped through the cracks-those who cheated without ever getting caught. Seventeen-year-old Jaden enters the ISC hoping for a fresh start and a typical college experience. But he quickly discovers that at this school, cheating isn't just a problem It's a curriculum. And the line between game and reality is far thinner than he ever imagined. Notes: This book is set on the Island of Barbados it's a country in the Caribbean. Culpeper island which is the Island the ISC is built on exist in real life, but it's much smaller island to the southeast of Barbados. Infact its more like a rock in the water but it has vegetation, and it isn't attached to the main island, so it's considered an island. The island in the book is bigger and sits further out to sea. But it is still apart of Barbados. The citizens on the island are called Barbadians with a majority black population however there's a significant amount of clear skin people.
