Closure (A Supernatural Fanfic)
A childhood friend of Sam and Dean Winchester's is brutally murdered by a demon, leaving behind his two small children and pregnant wife. The boys are called over to assist her investigation in the murder because the demon has taken possession of a local boy who had disappeared the week prior. Dean knows the young widow from a hunt he and John went on shortly after Sammy went to school, but it's Sam who ends up developing a deep bond with her and her children. He denies all this, as he's painfully aware of what happens to any girl who grows to be sweet on him.
