Lance knew this definition all too well, it was him every night, every damn night. It was the same routine, after dinner everyone would say their 'goodnights' and part ways to their rooms. Lance would get in his pajamas, plug in his headphones to whatever space iPod Pidge made the group, and stare at the ceiling, well at least until he knew for sure that the others were asleep.
He would wait until he was sure the others were asleep before going out to the main deck and watch the little stars dance.
Thinking about little trivial things, some nights it was the beach in his hometown, and other times it was his mere existence that bothered him. Whatever it was, he was tired of it, but didn't want to bother anyone with his problem. No one knew, well except for one 'night', when lance thought that everyone was asleep, one person was training late.
