Arnold is about to enter the sixth grade. His good friend Addy, a fellow resident of the boarding house, tries to console and rid him of his first day jitters. What's really on his mind is Helga G. Pataki and the F.TI. incident. Why couldn't he stop thinking about it?
Arnold just can't shake the feeling that one day, he will find his real parents. The sixth grade class takes a trip to San Lorenzo, the country Arnold's parents have resided since not long after he was born. It is up to Arnold, Addy, and Helga to save their friends when the trip goes wrong. Little do they know, they'll find out more about themselves than they would've ever known. Can they do it? Will Arnold and Helga resolve their unspoken-of tension?

In a world where Arnold and Helga never met as kids, Helga gets herself in a problem that almost causes her to get fired from her job working for Big Bob's company. Big Bob gives Helga another chance to keep her job and works as Arnold's temporary boss.
Another company that associates with Big Bob's conpany decides to cut off their deals and move on. While Bob is away, Helga and Arnold persuade the company to still work together by pretending that Arnold was the head of their company.
While Arnold and Helga work together, they realise that there's something special between them. Will they get together after all the crazy events?
