       Fighting on the ground, Neville Longbottom, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley knew that they and their friends were losing the Battle of Hogwarts. 

       At this rate, they only had a few minutes before all of the students were killed or captured, along with the teachers. Multiple teenagers had already surrendered. Harry had run off to Voldemort, but the fighting never ceased.

      And then they saw something that changed their mind: a brilliant green light, whirling through the Death Eaters, slicing them apart. The person responsible was accompanied by a young woman, who was ferociously firing yellow lasers from her twin blasters, dodging Killing Curses while the man simply batted them away.

     But the green light didn't just give its enemies fear through its blazing light.

    It also gave its allies hope, through its green glory.

Somewhere during the encounter, a stray bludger makes its way into their stand and hits harry pushing him over the edge of the arena. Dazed and confused, Harry flailed in the air but with the ground rapidly approaching, he closed his eyes and awaited impact, only to have someone grab his arm and pull him onto a broom. When he looked to see who it was he got the shock of his life. Viktor had a feeling that something would go wrong at the match today. He felt it for days on end. What happens when he watches as a small male gets hits with a bludger and falls into the arena. Well he catches the boy. And let's just say, he could not quite resist the emerald green eyes that stared up at him. (Harry is a 6th year in this fanfic, and Viktor is a seventh. Their relationship is perfectly legal.)
