Edward is finally home. After all the danger he had been in the last few weeks, it feels good to just relax with his friends. There has been no further communication from Orion, which troubles him.
On the way home from an AP class, Millie gets intercepted and receives a strange package that has no visible opening, along with a warning note on it telling her that "he" is coming. Before she can figure out who "he" is, something happens that changes her world once again.
Alex, always the carefree slob, accepts a "free" new gaming console which is much more sinister than it seems. Before he knows it, he's sent into the unknown, with barely any way to defend himself.
Finding themselves in a harsh, new environment, Edward, Millie, and Alex have to rely on their friends to be able to take even one step, for a single mistake might be their end, and they must learn how to adapt fast, or they will never make it home.
