I was about to go to sleep when I noticed my phone had 18 missed calls from Chloe. She must be worried. I texted her I'm fine and when my phone rang, I was electrocuted. Blue electricity emerged from my hand. I threw my phone by surprise but before it hit the wall, it exploded. I shrieked loudly, pulled out my blanket to cover myself. Why is everything exploding?! What is wrong with me?! I saw a blue spotlight on my bed, as if something's illuminating it. I looked everywhere and the blue spotlight followed my sight and lighted everything I looked at. I am shaking out of fear of what's happening that I reached for a pocket mirror and looked at myself. It's happening again! My eyes were glowing! It's--- it's... blue?

With the looming war with the other realms in sight, the government has formed a new organisation to recruit reliths who are people with two abilities to train them and to fight in the war. People have been trying to escape the hands of the organisation as they have learnt about what they do to the reliths. The reliths go through various experiments in order to enhance their abilities. It usually ends with the reliths dying. Even if they made it through the experiments, they had to suffer with the beatings they received to make them tougher . When the government came to Liam's and Chloe's house to check for their abilities,they knew they had to escape. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
