It's Artemis' first winter season. She had never seen the world during winter, many new experiences occur. Some go well, some go bad. One of the new experiences is meeting a frozen lake, for teh first time.

Desert Wings
In Kara's village at the age if fifteen your wings are freed from the chains that have bound them. Gods and goddesses of myth live with in the constraints if the dimension beside creatures of flight and fancy; beside them hide those of dreams, be they day dreams or the darkest nightmare. Kara and her freinds now must find out how to survive in a land where little is what it seems and a villain can be made of a hero or a hero made of a villian. Atop all this sits Fate, pulling strings to make her puppets jump and keep things intresting, because she has always loved a good show. Until the show started to change, when one little girl in particular wants things to change, because if leaving means Death, well Fate has another thing coming, a new Queen is coming. Hearth's Home
It was suppose to be regulare Winter Solstice. The first one after the second war. The usual boring meeting of the gods that was to take place. The event to happen after was what many gods, satyrs, nymphs and demigods looked forward to. The party that would be hosted on Olympus. All Olympians were together. Some of the demigod children were also in the throne room talking amongst themselves, ironically most argued with the children of the gods their parents were arguing with. Though it all came to a halt when Hestia stood up and walked through a door that appeared in the middle of the throne room. Worried for their sister/aunt the other Olympians followed. The demigods that were also in the room followed suit. They were all greeted by the sight of a simple hearth inside a rustic looking home. A little girl whose form seemed to shift. Though their attention was drawn to the young male who was adding a log to the fire before he noticed them. "Ah, come take a seat. Welcome to the Hearth's Home." Came a warm greeting from the male. Without noticing they all put their weapons away.
The Snow Prince
Like all interesting stories, this one begins with a curse. A kingdom that is cursed to an eternal winter. But the thing is, the curse hasn't been broken. So it is still really fricken cold, all the time. It has been so long that many younger people don't remember what summer is even like, they don't know any different. It has been so long that maybe the curse can never be broken. After all, such things only happen in fairytales. I curse this land with ice and snow, A curse of misery, a curse of woe.
