Even at the phrase "I like you", he didn't show the slightest of a hint of consideration, exasperation, inquisitiveness or repudiation. He kept walking straight ahead as if it was all a story where he did'nt need to interrupt the narrator.
'You really need to brush up your social skills or you'll never find a girl.'
Still no reply.
'Hello??!!' She waved her hands in front of his face. 'I'm trying to engage in a conversation with you here. What's wrong with you?'
She finally held his hand which for the first time triggered a reaction. He turned and looked, no, pierced into her eyes trying to find out what she was up to. After a long moment, his sound resonated deep and clear.
