And during their interrogation discover that Morgan's mostly useless superpower (a near useless summoning ability) has the potential to be Alex's undoing. Literally. For an S tier like Alex death is hardly permanent, but he comes back to a very changed world. One that both has moved on from him and still feels the scars from the aftermath of his death. And as for Morgan? They are barely recognisable from the light-hearted friend Alex left behind.
