This is a poem I wrote a few weeks ago. It shows my journey of moving on from a heart ache, and growing stronger when I needed to. I hope this poem will help who ever reads it overcome their struggles as writing it helped me get past mine. This is the first of my writings I have ever shared, and would really love some feed back, thank you and enjoy. :)

The tales of love
This is a series of poems about a woman i was once in love with long ago. Everything was sweet like strawberries at first, but deep down she was just using me as a rebound to get over a broken heart she has. We met in a speech class one semester, I couldn't talk to her, I shyly had someone else to talk to her. long story short, I should have got to know her like should, because she judged me for what had and didn't have. i loved her so much that I knew that she was cheating on me and wanted her to stay, but God removed her out of my life. she done so much wrong to me, but love her even of all her flaws. Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger. Wave (Book 2)
I had survived the first. That was then; this is now. The blindfold of so many pills slowly died away and first though my finger then my head, a passion, a hurt and a need filled me as every moment was consumed with words; every breath with wisps of ink. But they were not all captured and somewhere in the deep abyss of living, lies the unspoken, almost unfelt feelings of decades in months. This is the half-empty account off all those nights from December through into the new year and the end of March. ...I pains me to share it. But it also makes it just not my problem anymore and that is something I long for- freedom and peace.
