The tree on campus

There exists one terrible beast that will destroy you. It will tear you apart, it will make you laugh like a maniac, it will make you cry like a baby, it will make you go extreme ways to get what you want. It makes a fool out of you, takes anything dear to your heart away from you, lures you into its trap and then leaves you empty handed and begging for mercy. It creates euphoria and then despair, it makes you king of the world and then an untouchable, it throws you up, and then doesn't catch you, and you plummet down, down, helplessly wailing and screaming for help. There is no cure, and no vaccination. If you fall into it's trap, there is no going back. It will destroy you, and there is nothing you can do about it. It is called love.
