What Was Meant To Be (Harry Potter FF)

What would you do if you had your future picked out for you from the time you were a newborn baby? What would you do if you had no say in this whatsoever? What would you do if you were forced to marry somebody you didn't want to? What would you do if you were a witch who attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy, and had death eaters for parents? Would would you do if you had to grow up to become a follower of Voldemort, much to your parents dismay?

Well sadly to 16 year old Melanie Garret, all of this is happening to her. She's in Slytherin, and is sad to say that when she grows up, she will have to become the wife of Draco Malfoy. She doesn't find him the slightest bit charming, even though many of her so called 'friends' would to die for the chance to become his wife. Instead she finds herself wishing that she could be in Gryffindor, and marry a certain lightning shaped scared boy instead.

So now she wants to change her future. But how is that even possible? Especially since Voldemort is rising into power again.......
