Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, the heroes of Olympus, two of the Seven demigods destined to defeat Gaea, the most powerful demigods to still walk the earth, are trapped in a literal hell.

While the rest of the Seven-and Nico di Angelo-travel to Greece in the Argo 2, Percy and Annabeth have to slowly fight their way through the most dangerous place in the world for demigods. They see things that would drive almost anyone-mortal or immortal-to madness, but they push on because they need to find and close the Doors of Death. Otherwise, Gaea and her giants would destroy the world, and the Olympians' reign would end.

Could Percy and Annabeth manage to survive the tortures of The Pit and save the world? Or would they slip into the horrors of insanity, Tartarus keeping its steely grip on their minds and souls forever?

The House of Hades

67 parts Complete

At the conclusion of The Mark of Athena, Annabeth and Percy tumble into a pit leading straight to the Underworld. The other five demigods have to put aside their grief and follow Percy’s instructions to find the mortal side of the Doors of Death. If they can fight their way through the Gaea’s forces, and Percy and Annabeth can survive the House of Hades, then the Seven will be able to seal the Doors both sides and prevent the giants from raising Gaea. But, Leo wonders, if the Doors are sealed, how will Percy and Annabeth be able to escape? They have no choice. If the demigods don’t succeed, Gaea’s armies will never die. They have no time. In about a month, the Romans will march on Camp Half-Blood. The stakes are higher than ever in this adventure that dives into the depths of Tartarus.
