"You got into Oxford University."
Allow me to explain the gravity of this change - I, an unencumbered American eighteen year old had been accepted to Oxford, where, I would obviously be extremely encumbered.

John rolled his eyes, looking at the grey skies with speculation and broodiness. "I never got your name?"
"Diane Young."
"John Lennon." He responded, closing his eyes.

"Uhm, I'm Paul McCartney. Who are you- I mean, what's your name?". He tried his hardest to maintain eye contact but failed consistently.

the cavern club. the place where everyone wanted to play at. you'd be lucky even just to get in. john lennon was one of those lucky people who got to play at the cavern club with his band, the quarrymen. john was dealing with some things in his life. he hated himself. he hated his body. he hated his looks. he hated everything about him. and the pressures of being in the most famous band in liverpool made things even worse. thats was until a hazel-eyed boy walked through the doors of the club. this changed everything.
