The year is 3698 and the world population is over 12 billion. The government realizes quickly that soon enough there will definitely be a problem with overpopulation... The government and advanced forces decide that the best way to stop this rapid reproduction is to separate all the girls from the boys. They tell the world that dating and or marriage is now considered a disorder and punishable by death.
Families are torn apart and hearts are broken. Children of all ages are suffering severely without their parents. The boys and girls are put into two different facilities. Each room in the facilities are just big enough for two people.
It just so happens that Mark and Jack get put into the same room...
