This story takes you through the ups and downs of a popular R&B girl group, that is based in the late eighties to early nineties, named STAR. Fame isn't always about the glitz and glamour. Also, the group is well-known for being the close friends of another popular R&B group, New Edition. There's a ultimate price you have to pay in order to cope. With the mix of lifestyles in this quartet, it's hard to maintain a decent life in the spotlight. The lead singer, Shannon Summers, a well-known beauty in the music business, seems to be the glue holding the group together. Take a look through her viewpoint on how the group is successful and what happens when their careers suddenly fall.
