This is a story I wrote for NANOWRIMO. It has some "mature scenes", but there's no swearing.

Melody.
Normally a beautiful sound that brings peace or happiness, but this melody brings death. Who created her, she can't remember. For roughly three-hundred years, she's been compliant to King Zephyrus' commands, mainly because Ivan is terrifying. But, Merna changes things. Merna knows who created Melody, and where he is. What will it take to be human once again? Is it possible at all?

Serendipity's Interlude (Sequel to The Call)
After Serendipity's passing, things changed, both on the surface and in the waters. She created a new type of a Guardian, an order of Sisters, rather than simple lone warriors.
