Castiel Novak, a male nurse, was ready for his first long term patient. This patient being Dean Winchester. Little did he know he would fall for him. And when Castiel Novak falls in love (Which isn't often), he falls hard. Dean has lung cancer, but he doesn't let that bring him down. And in fact, he finds himself reciprocating the love with the Novak as well. And as their relationship grows stronger, Dean's condition worsens. It's hard for Cas to even be in the same room with him as he watches the love of his life slowly leaving him. Can Castiel make his last living moments worth while? (So sorry. I'm bad at writing descriptions.)

Dean Winchester and Castiel Novak are familiar-strangers who always end up on the same bus every morning and evening of the week. Luck isn't on Cas' side one week when he loses his cat and proceeds to get fired, then there's Dean who went a whole day without coffee. Eventful cat chases, office romances, family disputes, estranged lovers... all cramped into one story. - A long, descriptive destiel fic that I hope others enjoy reading as much as I have writing it. - *** Short prompt developed into a story. *** *please note I have only watched to season 10 of Supernatural, so these are dated pieces I wrote just for fun!*
