Phantomhive's Creed (A Black Butler/Assassin's Creed Crossover Fanfic)

It's the year 1888 in London, and strange rumors of "Assassins and Templars" have been circulating throughout the city. These rumors have spread to the far reaches of London's notorious criminal underworld, the Guard Dog's realm.

Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis investigate a string of murders that leads them to one key link: the Apple of Eden. What is this "Apple" and why is it so precious? Little do they know of the war between two groups of people who seek its power... And they will be caught right in the middle of it.

Will they rise to the challenge and choose a side, or will their neutrality result in their demise in this chess match where the winner mercilessly takes all?
