10 years ago a tragedy struck the Germanic kingdom, the royal family; King Alaric of the Löwe kingdom and his twin daughters Princesses Rose Red and Snow White were butchered by the blade of the Queens own Huntsman.Well that's what everyone was told, anyways. Now, deep in the forbidden forest a gorgeous young woman with eyes as green as the flourished forest and hair as red as fire resided there along with her befriended talking bear. Although, when she overhears news of a rebellious group planning to overthrow the queen she begins to experience a whirlwind of mystery and events. As she grows and she fights for her family and for her kingdom's rights and safety she will learn things of herself and her family that threaten to tear her down till she is mere bone. On this journey she will turn from a child to a woman and become the queen she was always bred to be.

This is a novel I began writing last year for NaNoWriMo. I just wanted some opinions and comments on it so far, in particular the 2 Prologues that have been posted. I love both Prologues so much but obviously I cannot put both into my story so opinions on the one you like better is greatly appreciated :)

Andersen, about how he became a writer and why most of his stories are so sad and melancholic. Also, about why he never found real love... Yes, that's what I read about him (among other things)-- he kept falling in love with unatteinable women. My story portrays Hans Christian Andersen as a young, fourteen-years-old boy. It's set in Odense, Denmark, in the late summer of 1818-- soon after Hans' mother, a poor washerwoman, remarried (two years after his father's death) and shortly before he was sent to a school for poor children where he had to support himself. Where he became, to be able to afford his schooling, first a weaver's, then a tailor's apprentice, a singer, an actor and finally, once his excellent soprano voice changed, a writer. Hans and Louise, his (fictional) step-sister, seek refuge from a summer storm in an old shed. There, they meet Rosalind, a lost Flower Fairy. When they decide to help her find the Butterfly Fairy boy she loves and intends to marry, she takes them into a fantastical world of Terra Sonalis, her home. A land of dreams populated by fairies, goblins, elves, mermaids, talking animals... All those mysterious creatures that fuelled Andersen's imagination for the rest of his life. ☆☆☆Complete

Being the eldest, all he dreamed was to claim the throne when he was 25. With his 25th birthday around the corner, his dream seems to be out of reach. His younger brother, James, is in line for the crown. The king decided that having a cursed monster as king would bring shame to his name. He thought all hope was lost until he stumbled before Rose in the woods of the castle grounds. They come to an agreement to help each other. Break Thaddeus' curse and as king he'll release Rose from her imprisonment. But what happens when Thaddeus begins to have other motives to becoming king? What will happen when Rose begins to realize that maybe not all royals are monsters? "I don't just spout nonsense, Rose. I'm not a man that plays around. Behind this outward beauty lies a secret that only a few people even suspect. There was a reason beyond mere jealousy that motivated the new Queen to drive Snow White from the castle. Never fear, dear reader; a prince will find her. Oh, yes. But at what price? -- I wrote this as my first foray into the Wattpad world, in which I took up the challenge of #justwriteit and #altending. However I found that re-envisioning a classic tale such as Snow White made more sense to me than simply changing the ending.
