10 years ago a tragedy struck the Germanic kingdom, the royal family; King Alaric of the Löwe kingdom and his twin daughters Princesses Rose Red and Snow White were butchered by the blade of the Queens own Huntsman.Well that's what everyone was told, anyways. Now, deep in the forbidden forest a gorgeous young woman with eyes as green as the flourished forest and hair as red as fire resided there along with her befriended talking bear. Although, when she overhears news of a rebellious group planning to overthrow the queen she begins to experience a whirlwind of mystery and events. As she grows and she fights for her family and for her kingdom's rights and safety she will learn things of herself and her family that threaten to tear her down till she is mere bone. On this journey she will turn from a child to a woman and become the queen she was always bred to be.

  This is a novel I began writing last year for NaNoWriMo. I just wanted some opinions and comments on it so far, in particular the 2 Prologues that have been posted. I love both Prologues so much but obviously I cannot put both into my story so opinions on the one you like better is greatly appreciated :)

The slits in his eyes relaxed into orbs, and he nudged her to get up with a purr in the back of his throat. He could smell her injuries and her fear, and he wanted her to get up and keep moving. Suffice it to say, Freydis and that black dragon became friends. He cared for her, and she had his back. That is, until they were shot out of the sky by a stupid Viking-want-to-be. Oh, and forgot to mention she has ice powers she can't control. Thank you, gods of Asgard. It's set in Odense, Denmark, in the late summer of 1818-- soon after Hans' mother, a poor washerwoman, remarried (two years after his father's death) and shortly before he was sent to a school for poor children where he had to support himself. Where he became, to be able to afford his schooling, first a weaver's, then a tailor's apprentice, a singer, an actor and finally, once his excellent soprano voice changed, a writer. Hans and Louise, his (fictional) step-sister, seek refuge from a summer storm in an old shed. There, they meet Rosalind, a lost Flower Fairy. When they decide to help her find the Butterfly Fairy boy she loves and intends to marry, she takes them into a fantastical world of Terra Sonalis, her home. A land of dreams populated by fairies, goblins, elves, mermaids, talking animals... All those mysterious creatures that fuelled Andersen's imagination for the rest of his life. ☆☆☆
