Meet Nicholas "Nicky" Hun, a well-hearted yet cocky young boy. For his 11th birthday, he received something that he'd been dreaming of for ages: a Dragonoid! Not just that, but a talking one!

With his new partner, Nicky meets new friends and enemies through a game that everyone plays, called "Bakugan".

Bakugan was first thought of as an ordinary card game, with collectible little balls, but it turns out that those balls are capable of becoming monsters on a Bakugan Battlefield, and the cards unleashed their devastating power! 

After being introduced to a worldwide Bakugan tournament, Nicky and his friends find out about an evil team of elite criminals known as "The Cyrus", and their plot to remove Bakugan from the face of the universe!
