BOOK 2 of 3 As the survivors dwindle from the recent attack from an infected hoard; they run into unexpected company and come face to face with a memory meant to fade with the past. Relationships will form, both good and bad; the infection continues to rise with no end in sight. Will these survivors stand firm and wipe out the plague, or fade with the paleness of the world? "The Evergreen tree whispers on, It's voice leads the pure who've fallen astray, Against the wicked and sin infested, To reach the sunrise they have been praying for. But pale as it is, it never meets the needs, The people desire more from the Evergreen Tree. It stretches out its branches with open arms, To shield the pure from the heavy scar. The pale sunrise fades away, The Auburn Night then rules the sky, The people become different, They each have the scar. Along with the others down deep in the roots."
