In the future, a lone human ship Captain and his partner AI, out on a salvage recovery mission, will learn a bit more about each other while recovering a bit of the horrors of the past.

There are some grizzly bits but nothing overt nor disgusting, so it should be readable by anyone without warning.

Author's Note: while I'm not very pleased with my ending to this, I'll accept it as part of my learning to write better with time.  This is part of my one story a month self challenge meant to inspire me to write more in the future.(CC) Attribuzione Creative Commons
