I've struggled with trauma, mental illnesses, and self harm for many years. These are (mostly) poems - about me and my journey of getting better. ! It would be hard for her to talk about love just as simply as bringing up a favorite song, nor would it be easy to talk about a heartbreak. She couldn't just talk about the things that she misses, or even the things that she admires about life. She'd think to herself that what she has shown is only a mere facade of what she truly felt.
