D. James Horace didn't believe in myths or magic. He was a man of science. And men of science were what the British Eastern Nation were looking for to help them stop the Western United Federation from trying to rule the world. Men of science were what were needed to win the fourth World War. James, however, wasn't quite ready to deal with all the death he was being forced to face. Even more so when he found someone who evaded death. And it is because of that someone that he finds himself thinking he might just not be a man of science after all.

Why would anyone want to read about the things that go bump in the night, when they can just go out and talk to them? Still, David didn't expect to even fail at dying.
