Durning the victorian ages of England were the times where neatly dressed people walked through the town and pirates ruled the seas. For Victoria Belrose though, it had all become boring for her as she wanted nothing more then to travel the world and see new things. One day, Victoria runs away, desperate to get away from her soon-to-be husband and suffocating mother. She is then suddenly thrown into the world of pirates between a cruel old captain and a dashing young sailor who had a tendency to get under her skin. Then when old Captain Williams recognizes Victoria's necklace as being connected to a treasure known as the Wishing Stone all of the stories Victoria was told as a child became real and she has to try to keep the stone's power out of the wrong hands. (This is an original story and belongs to me. I did make the cover myself but I do not own the artwork I had used for it)

This is supposed to be a standard fairy tale story. The prince saves the princess from the dragon. They get married and live happily ever after. But things can never be that easy. For one, the only way to save the princess from the dark dimension is to use magic which August's father had outlawed in their kingdom. Secondly, the spell to free the princess from her tower was in Lux's Grimoire which nobody knew the whereabouts of. Thirdly, he can't solve either of these things without a cheeky pirate. August just wants to save the princess and start his duties as a prince, but things keep get thrown at him. Warrior fairies, pixie fighting rings, mermaid gangs, elven ancient prophecies, druid arms dealers, and that damned crazy ass pirate! This is supposed to be a standard fairy tale story!!! Why are things going like this?
