Emma Smith, a 16 year old starts her new semester whilst missing her father who had died mysteriously and coping up with the sudden change of her grandmother's sweet attitude turning into a serious one, her mother being quiet and 'the significance of her turning 16' as said by her grandmother.
Meanwhile in her school she met with her old friends AND John Stewart, the most gorgeous (and rude guy for Emma) of the school.
There is something going on John's mind which Emma doesn't know.

Magic? Nope. Hidden towns? Definitely not. Sexy mentors? Well.... oh, go on then. My guess is the latter, but he is so gorgeous that a little complication is a small sacrifice to make. Dane just wants to get left alone. Ever since losing his brother, he's not been quite the same. Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence.
