Alexandra Hathaway is one of a kind, literally, but don't tell her that. With a secret she doesn't even know about, she lives the life of a normal teenage girl, and the ones around her intend to keep it that way.
So when her father dies in a freak accident, Alex is forced to leave her hometown, and move to her moms 'better place', Shadowed Falls. Were the people around you are not as normal as they seem.
Some are pale faced, and cold blooded. Then some are warm blooded and more animal than any human that walks the earth. The two species are forced to stay together by a treaty from long ago, and know one can break that treaty.
Except Alex.
For she has a bond that cant be broken, connecting the two together. her powers are unique and have never been seen before. So when they find out about her, Alex is forced to make a decision. A decision that can break the treaty the cold and warm blood share.

He can be so nice, then so mean. He can care and protect, make you laugh, and at the same time play games with your head. And after he's done with that, he'll tear your heart out, rip it into the smallest fragments known to man and leave it on the floor, while all you can do is stand there, not being able to cry because you're so numb, because you thought that there was something there, when really there was nothing but a wayward boy out to break a poor girls fragile heart, because he didn't know what he wanted. *I wrote and finished this years ago then deleted it. Brooklyn thinks she got her head screwed on right, only to find out, her world will be turned upside down when Emma comes to her school. Emma, however, is quite the opposite. She only speaks when spoken to and when she does, she talk very little. All Emma wishes to do is complete her senior year without complicating her life with all the drama high school brings with it. If only Emma knew, going to this high school wasn't the best idea and just spelt out drama. Will Emma get caught up in the webs of Brooklyn's wicked schemes or will Brooklyn finally realize that playing with people's heart will just bring her to her own path of destruction when her own heart is on the line.
