A few million years had passed since the end of the human civilization. The only living things were ferns and other plants that could grow in the cold ice age that covered the globe, and some animals which had adapted to the sudden climate change, by hibernating. One day consisted of 30 hours. One month consisted of 20 days. One year consisted of 10 months.
A race of aliens, called the Pith, were stripped of their homeland. They were forced to file into small ships and go in search of a new home. They survived on nitrogen. They could not breathe anything else. And smack in the middle of practically nowhere, they found this vast expanse of land, covered in a familiar substance: snow. The air was nitrogen rich. The place was paradise.
Except when the race had a falling out. Two clans separated themselves and the Earth was divided in two. Deathe Hath, a young Pith from the Kinh clan falls in love with Notcome Yet, an enigmatic male from the Foulke clan.
Will their secret romance survive? Or will the feud between the clans destroy their love?
