So imagine this, Your mum just got this great new job. But this new job happened to be across the country. Your parents are divorced, and your father gives you the option to stay in your home town. You can stay with all your friends. Everyone you've known your entire life. But with your mum, you'd only be able to visit your father during holidays and school breaks. But your mum tells you you'd make new friends, seeing you only had one in this boring old town anyways. She can provide for you much easier than your father could. She can finally be that mother you yearned for every day she was struggling to put food on the table. — Now imagine this. You only had one friend. His name was Blake. Why? Because you were never "pretty" so to speak. Now, don't get me wrong. You're truly beautiful, you just never made an effort towards your appearance. You have never had in interest in anyone in a loving way. Why? You have severe social anxiety and OCD. You don't talk much at school other than to Blake. Honestly? You wouldn't be missed in that town. — So what do you do? Who do you choose? Well Mackenzie Keating chose to leave with her mother. Leaving a secretly heart broken Blake behind. — And that's where Mackenzie ended up. In a rich neighborhood. Only wishing she could be somewhere else. But what happens when she meets someone that could change her mind. They both have their flaws. But soon after Mackenzie and her mother move in, her mother has to leave for work. What will happen when Mackenzie's mother asks this man to watch over her while she's gone. What will happen when sexual tensions arise, Will she yet again choose to ignore it? What if he doesn't want to play that way? After all, they will be sleeping under the same roof.

Meet Violet Summers. She's the sarcastic girl who doesn't really ever get noticed by anyone. She blends into any crowd because of how "normal" she is. And she loves it. She wouldn't be able to stand the attention of everyone around her. That's why she won't tell Ryan Bloore, her crush for three years, that she practically worships the ground he walks on. Ryan is the captain of the basketball team at their school, so guys see him like he's a god and girls act like he walks on water. If they were to date, all eyes would be on her- she would be under everyone's scrutiny. So she's kept her feelings a secret, and she's done her best to suppress her emotions these past years, but she's realized that she's been so caught up in making people not notice her that she didn't realize how lonely she would be when no one was watching. Now meet Ryder Knight. School bad boy. Quarterback captain and heartthrob. The kind that wears a leather jacket and has tattoos all over his arms. The one who shows up to school riding a motorcycle. Just your average run of the mill "if you get involved with this guy, you will meet some serious trouble" kind of male. Well, too bad for Violet, she's stuck with him now. After all of the years of pushing away her feelings for Ryan because of her fear of being seen, she is now all anyone can look at- because of Ryder. Because of him, she can feel their stares, and she hates him for it. The longer they spend time together, the more Ryder starts to realize he actually enjoys being around her-despite her snarky comments about how much she despises him. And if Violet is being completely honest with herself, she's also starting to realize she might not actually hate the fact that people are noticing her now, but hate the way Ryder makes her feel.

"I am the textbook definition of in love with you." *** Castor Rex: He's snarky, quiet and mysterious. A secret keeper. He doesn't like his life to be on display. People avoid him, even if they respect him. Jasper Red: He's polite, nice and helpful. A open book. He likes filling his life with other people and their love. People love him, they can't help it. Because of his quiet nature, snarky smirks and sarcastic words Castor has always had a hard time when it came to making friends -and keeping them. Something Jazz doesn't struggle with. With Jazz's protective nature, shyness and many friends he doesn't need someone else to fill a spot in his life -at least, that's what he thought. Then they met. And that empty part in Jazz's heart felt a little bit bigger because he started to realize Cas could fill it. Cas sees him as a grinning, happy dork he has no chance with. Jazz sees him as a adorable, grumpy jock that now, is his. Castor wants to get through the school year as quietly as possible but with how loud Jazz loves, neither of them know if it's possible, and to make matters worse they're roommates for the rest of the year. It's only a matter of time before they come together or fall apart. *** As a private person, someone who doesn't share myself with others, I can say that learning how to interact with others is difficult. It's like baking, almost, you have to mix the right ingredients together, and if you add the wrong ones things can taste hideous even if they look good. It's a lot like our words. But I've mastered how to tell someone just a little about myself but doing it in a way that makes the person in front of me think they know a lot. Jasper, somehow, sees through this every fucking time and it's absolutely infuriating. He's never satisfied with just a little of me, with my hidden truth, and it's the most annoying thing I've ever experienced. *** @STESLARA made the second POV in her book 'Jasper Red's Anomaly'

When Sammy's parents got divorced, she didn't mind at all, because she knew that they weren't meant to be together, and if they weren't happy with each other, then they don't have to stay together for her sake. She lived with her mom, and her dad visited regularly, when he could get away from his work; running a top class private boarding school. Her mom turns on her when her favourite person leaves town, and her life slowly starts losing meaning, and she can't think of anything that makes her happy, except being with her best friend. Then, she goes too... With nothing making her happy in her small town, she makes a life-changing decision, that she thinks will benifit her, and make her life all that she wanted. Or, it could go very wrong and be worse than staying where she is. "Dad, I want to live with you" I told him over the phone, in tears. Nothing new there. "Samantha, you know I'd love you too, but there isn't any school around this area, remember? My school is in the countryside, with nothing within a short driving dinstance" he all but rejected me. "Then can I move schools? Attend your boarding school?" He was silent, then let out a long sigh of defeat. "I'll enroll you now. Pack your things, I'll send a car in the morning for you." That was all I needed to hear, and I was thrilled. Without making noise, I danced around my room and repeatedly thanked him. Later that night, after the usual abuse, I silently packed my things when she was passed out. I hurried in doing it, and stored them at the back of my closet so she couldn't see them when she checked up on me. You're doing it, Sammy. You're finally getting out of here; away from all the bitchy girls, your mom, and old memories with Fletcher. I'm proud of you, girl...

He knows that when things go wrong, sometimes people are alone. Sometimes they fall apart, and there's no one else there to catch their shattered pieces. But he isn't one of them. He has friends and family that love him. So why does he want more? Why does he-- even with all the joy his family gives him-- want a different type of love? He feels selfish, undeserving.
