Saudade: (n.) a nostalgic longing to be near again to something or someone that is distant, or that has been loved and then lost; “the love that remains” He never meant to forget about me…did he? We breathed the same air and the same touch when we used to go to our favorite spot, full of my once favorite flowers, making flower crowns pretending to be the princess and the frog. Now I could barely stand the smell of them, bringing memories I longed to forget of sleepless nights and tears that meant nothing. He left me with no trace of bread crumbs to follow; I was the lost ugly duckling, waiting for him to come back and save me from the monster living in my “house”. “I promise to be your knight and prince charming to love you forever”, the sentence he used to repeat every night before bed still lives in my heart, but slowly vanished when he did too, because I learned to accept he really forgot me Amorie Hummingbird, his lost Rapunzel.

Tangled Love

60 parts Complete

"You only live once." This is the overly used excuse that we use every time we make a decision and that's fine because it's true. This also goes with 'Love'. For once in our lives, we would eventually experience this love - the kind of love that just can't die. A love, though not being returned, we are still willing to take the risk. We expect that somehow, someday we will be rewarded. But how long can we give that love a chance? Are we really capable of giving so much without asking anything in return? Are we really capable of being happy, just seeing the person we love happy with someone else? How can we untangle something so twisted like LOVE? How can we survive without breaking? How can we live without hating? Brace yourself for it will be a long roller coaster ride to what we call 'HAPPINESS' - D A L E (myLovelymind) Cover by: @ShebaHanna 🎉
