I was normal. A normal life as well. But one day, one moment, will change everything. There was a disaster, an earthquake. Dublin was hit hardest. That's where I was and most people were killed. I wanted to stay alive so bad. Wanted to survive. I was so scared of dying. I almost did, but he came, he came and saved me. I never caught his name. Just his blue eyes that started deep into my brown one, making me feel safe. This is 2 years later and I'm now 17. My family died the day of the earthquake. I live in a orphanage with 36 people. There family's were killed too. Dublin is still in bad conditions. I never stop thinking about him. About what he did for me that day. Day and night he is there. Watching over me. I can feel it. But why?

I never believed it would end like this. I was just watching Netflix when the power went out, then before I knew it everyone was screaming, then the school began to shake and fell to the ground. Only three kids in my entire school were spared, four if you count me. I found a group of people heading to the east coast for a boat trip to a supposed safe haven in India. They died of disease days later. I found their bodies by the river. But I guess this is my life now, surviving with a scared boy, a pair of twins and trying to make it to the next day. Start: June 27, 2017 End:September 12, 2017
