Understanding Alice

"Honey, she was already dead." Kalel's life was a mess, what with all of the rumors being spread about her every other day. But she was determined to keep her head up, she knew not to take the road Alice took. When she was younger, she never understood why Alice did it. But after years of trying, she was finally starting to. Devin was the stereotypical 'bad boy' of the town. He didn't communicate with anyone at school, and generally couldn't give a damn what people thought about him. But what happens when he and Kalel get assigned as partners for a semester long project?
