Anastasia Clarke-or Anya to anyone who knows her-is just your average high school student: she tries not get in trouble, makes good grades, flies below the radar, and like anyone else, looks forward to nothing more than her Senior year with her best friends. But all her plans change when her father abandons her family and her mother must go to Europe to take care of her dying grandfather leaving Anya to move in with family friends across the country from Kansas to Seattle for her last year of school. The only bright side she can find is that she might be able to escape from everything that happened over the summer. Most of all, escape from memories of her first love and steer clear of any other guys. But that's a little difficult to do when the family she's staying with has 11 kids and 90 percent of them are guys. The last thing that Anya wanted to do was get involved in something that could end up exactly like it had last time. And she certainly never expected to find someone she liked again-at least until she got over the last one. But she finds out that things don't always go as she planned. After all, there are a lot of problems with falling in love.

(Before You Leave #1) She was sent to boarding school over the smallest of mistakes... Okay, burning down your schools gym might have been a big one. But she didn't mean to do it. This time. And she's certainly no snitch. She's had a fine life. But she wanted something more. And so she created chaos. She was misjudged and misunderstood. And now she's the havoc of Birchwood Prep. They call her the devil's bitch, the principal's worst nightmare, and a screwed up whore. They can think what they want, JJ Ashton has heard these all throughout high school. She doesn't want a future, she just wants to take control of now. She's everything Birchwood Prep doesn't want, but is deemed to get after her Father decided it was the only option for her to find some discipline. She's not going to make it that easy for them. Gideon Andrews is the perfect student. Good grades, never missed a day, and never had been in trouble of any sort. He thinks life is great, but meeting JJ, she thinks life for him could be better. Less plain and vanilla. He hates her guts. It's mutual for her as well. But the headmaster has made it Gideon's personal mission to get her back on track and into a better life. She's allowed two screw ups, has to join a sports team, pass all of her classes with at least a C and get some friends before the year is over, or she will be held back. And she's not about to go another year in the hellhole called high school. (Marked mature for language and brief talk about sex.) *Still editing parts/making corrections* (Sequel is called: When I Stay)
