It is said that only the claws or sword of a pure hearted warrior can slay a dracolitch.

In the aftermath of the battle with Lyrica, Manx and her friends must pick up the pieces of a broken world. The Empress is finally back in her true form, and there is finally a chance for peace in the Valdt.

Yet when the Valdt needs the Dragon Empress the most, she is too focused on getting revenge. Manx and Vaskin are sent on a quest to find Lyrica at all costs and deliver her into the Empress' claws.

However, Manx has doubts about her mission.

Lyrica let the Empress go in the final moments of the battle when she had every chance to kill her. Can this mean that maybe Lyrica's heart isn't all evil? Manx is torn between her close friends and a former enemy whom she wishes to save, but nobody else shares her opinion.

Standing for what she believes is right means betraying the Empress and abandoning her friends. Can she follow through with what she believes is right and redeem the Empress' worst enemy?

For five long years, the wizarding world has been torn apart by war, and Amoria has quietly watched from the sidelines, raised to believe that the Death Eaters offer the only path to power and order. Once a close family friend of the Malfoys, she now returns to Malfoy Manor, driven by a duty she doesn't fully understand. Her father's newfound position under The Dark Lord's rising power pulls her deeper into the conflict, and Amoria feels the crushing weight of loyalty-though she fears the cost. As the Resistance steadily closes in on the Death Eaters, Amoria is caught in a dangerous game. When a dark, ancient magic inherited from her deceased mother awakens inside her, Amoria is terrified. She never wanted power like this. But The Dark Lord believes she is the key to tipping the war in his favor, and Amoria is caught between the fear of her own abilities and the pressure to use them for the Dark Lord's cause. Training with Draco, her childhood friend turned reluctant ally, only complicates things further. Their strained relationship grows more tense with every passing day, and Amoria finds herself drawn to him in ways she never expected. Though Draco remains loyal to the war, a quiet tension grows between them as Amoria begins to see sides of him that contradict his cold, icy demeanor. As the war reaches its boiling point and the Resistance closes in, Amoria must decide: will she embrace her dark legacy and do as the Dark Lord says, or will her fear of becoming the very thing she hates drive her to destroy everything she's ever known? The choice she makes will not only shape the future of the war but the fate of those she loves.

18+ READERS ONLY! Virulence contains sexual, graphic, and gruesome scenes! I will try to put warnings before chapters I feel may be triggering for some, but this is your blanket warning! Please read at your own discretion. This combines the HP magical world with my own imagination. It doesn't follow the books or movies and my depiction of the characters may slightly differ from their original portrayal. Kyla Bea has spent years loving Draco Malfoy in silence. They were inseparable once, but something changed during the final week of summer - something he refuses to talk about. Now, back at Hogwarts, Draco is distant, his coldness a blade she doesn't understand. Kyla tells herself it doesn't matter. That she doesn't need him. But the headaches are getting worse. The memory gaps are growing. And when she overhears Draco and Hermione Granger whispering about her in the library, she realizes this isn't just heartbreak. Draco is keeping secrets. And if Kyla digs too deep, she might finally remember the one thing he's desperate for her to forget.
