'Haven't you heard yet? I thought you would've since you were close to her. It's Morgan... she was found dead under the tree house in the woods. They say it was suicide.' 
Since hearing these words five years ago, Ari has felt betrayed by the closest friend he'd ever had. She made a promise that she'd be strong for him; she'd made him promise the same. So why? Why would she do this?
After taking a short-cut home, coincidentally past the tree house in which they played and where Morgan met her end, Ari discovers something that completely changes his view of what happened.
