Lainey Lee has played as a Beater in Quidditch for nearly four years, so it's no surprise that when Lainey transfers from Ilvermorny to Hogwarts Academy for her fifth year, she quickly makes the team. Self-assured with plenty of direction, the year was supposed to pass breezily for her.
But when Lainey suffers a serious head injury from a particularly rough match, and many of her memories consequently disappear, including the line distinguishing friend from foe and right from wrong that she had so clearly observed before.
