High school is hard. It's even worse when you have to balance a job at the same time - let alone help run your family's business between classes and homework. Diana works at her family's pickle company (What's the Dill?) every day after school and on the weekends, so there's no time for her to go to parties or football games. She's stuck juggling English essays and preserving jars of cucumbers, with only a little bit of sleep in between.
And when you throw a boy into the mix, forget it. The last thing Diana has time for is to date her high school's lacrosse captain, but Alex has a different plan. He's determined to get Diana to live a little and experience life outside of the jar she's stuck in.
Life's not all about work, but some of us need more convincing than others.

Well, they started an art class, every wednesday they would help their students get better at painting. But soon enough, they found a new interest. Finger Painting. They loved how much control they had, they loved how easy it was to glide their finger against the canvas. One day, they accidentally spilt some blood onto their canvas. They tried to rub it away, but.. It felt good. Even better than paint. They loved the feeling of the blood against the canvas, rubbing into it and creating an amazing picture. How could they not like it? But they couldn't use it again, they could use a substitute.
