Roxanne lost everything in such a short amount of time. In an effort to put it all behind, she packs up her bags and books a one-way flight to Scotland. Her travels greet her with wonderful people who make her smile that she'll never forget and people that she will weep for. Is tragedy all she is destined for in her young life? Joe felt jitters. The flight was long and tiring. She tried to calm herself. For over nine hours she kept telling herself there was no reason to be so nervous. The plane finally landed. She was in London. She should have been excited. She had always dreamt of traveling around the world. "Hey Daph, I can't see you." "Here. Look over here." She heard someone shouting. She turned towards the direction of her sisters shouting, beaming when she saw Daphne. London looked good on her. She ran towards Daphne, leaving her suitcase unattended. Daphne picked her up, hugging her tightly. "Oh my God! I've missed you so much. You look so pretty." Joe blushed. She'd been getting that a lot. "My bags." Joe said, turning back to where she'd left them. Her breath seized when she saw him standing beside her bags. As if it was nothing, he picked them up, walking towards them. She didn't know he was gonna be there. As if glued to the ground, Joe stood, unable to move, her eyes watching him, her breathing fast and raspy. She lightly hit her chest where her heart was, taking deep breaths "Joe, you remember Harry." Of course she did. He looked so much older, more mature, more handsome. She'd visualized this moment so many times in her head. Her imagination didn't come close to this reality. His smell filled her nose, bewitching her. She could recognize this smell anywhere. 'Calm yourself, Joe.' She said in her mind. "Long time no see, Joelinton."

In One Day, I Promise (Legolas FanFic)

63 partes Concluida

After many years of solitude, one loses hope to ever see daylight, ever have hope again. Duathiell has been alone for as long as she can remember, and any hope of being free has long vanished. With each setting sun, each lost day, she draws away from the outside world, trapped by her father figure in the dark prison of her tower. But every day she sees that the sun rises once more, and if she can strain her eyes just far enough, she can see the world; the land of Middle-Earth, that stretches as far as she can see. One day, she says, one day she'll see it all, run in the trees and live in the forests, but she never thinks about who will be with her. She never thinks about who she will meet, fall in love with, and what great adventures they will go on together. It never even crosses her mind, and when it does, it will surely be a tale that will be passed down for generations of Elves for Ages to come, who'll all tell the tale of the unlikely hero, who in discovering herself, forged a path that will influence many to follow.
