It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong. Her first boyfriend and supposedly love of her life dumps her for someone else, her heart is broken and feels like it won't ever heal again and her best friend makes her join the most unnecessary club on earth to help her find new friends she most definitely does not need. Still. New chances are for new beginnings, right? Instead of falling into a deep dark pit of self pity (however tempting that may sound), all of this betrayal ends up leading her to the best friends she's ever had and the most exciting school year of her life. Brooke is a good girl that has it all; a seemingly perfect family, stellar grades, and an amazing friend group. She is ambitious, independent and steadfast in chasing her dreams, so with her friends by her side, turning eighteen and finishing the last few months of senior year was supposed to be a breeze. But when threads of the facade of her perfect life began to unravel everything she ever knew is brought into question including her relationship with Cole. The enigmatic stoner with his dark hair, DC shoes, and Outlast shirt walked into Brooke's life- quickly becoming her best friend, but what if she wanted more? As the dark secrets come to light so does her feelings for Cole but could the good girl be with the rumored bad boy or is she the detriment to their relationship?
