Evander, a young boy who was supposedly kicked out of his tribe and raised by flying snake-tailed lions basically his entire life, finds out that he and another kid are part of a very important prophecy that could stop the big war that's going on. Before he does anything, however, he has to find the other child of the prophecy before anyone else does to fulfill the prophecy. Will the perilous journey through tribe territory get him killed because of his so-called "dangerous" abilities or will he survive long enough to see the war finally come to an end as he's always hoped it would? The latest clue requires them to seek "a guide from another world". Finding the person is the easy part; persuading them to risk their life for a group of strangers will be a bigger challenge. And what will Tor do if the 'guide' refuses to help? This is not the usual type of fantasy novel where Good versus Evil and it all ends in a big battle. It is the journey that is important, not the final destination. As you get to know the characters, and they get to know each other, you will grow to love or hate them and will find yourself eager to know what happens next.

He shows her the glimmering world around as they head off on a mission to find a seer to bring back what she had lost. He hoped this creature could heal her broken memory. But at what cost? Thranduil has been having the same dream for three hundred years - dark blue eyes. A chance attack on one of the villages in his realm puts him in front of the face behind those eyes, and he panics. What happens when she discovers that the soulmate in question is none other than the arrogant, cold-hearted elf King? Will she be able to thaw his chilled heart enough for him to let her in?
