All alone, in the fading sky, out in the middle of nowhere.... We moved into this house.... And next door there was a burning house. When we were done moving everything into our new house, we went to check out the house next door that had been burning still. We decided to go through the door and enter the house ... Not a smart idea since it was burning still, but we did. When we walked inside there was a little boy, standing on his knees crying. "Their gone..." He said.... Falling to the floor.

The room was pitch black but I could still see his handsome face. And even if I were put in a crowd and blindfolded, I would still be able to find him. I lay in the same position, looking at the now sleeping figure. I was confused and curious. What do you mean by not anymore? I asked in my mind as if he could somehow hear me. But he couldn't. And I wasn't brave enough to ask. Afraid that my heart would be shattered again by the same person I had fallen madly in love with. The only person my soul longed for. The wooden floorboards creak underneath my footsteps as I walk down the abandoned hallway, my flashlight swinging back and forth in front of me.
