Home is where the heart is. Or something like that right? Skylar wouldn't know. Skylar wouldn't care. In and out of foster homes half of his life after witnessing the murder of his parents can really weigh down a person. He's weird because of this. He's a loner. He doesn't "fit in" according to those at his school. He should go kill himself. He's a waste of space. He belongs somewhere else. With his family, with a friend, he belongs where he feels safe and secured, anywhere but where he's at now. Tormented and teased everyday, losing the only people he's ever loved in his life all while restraining the urge to end it all. Will he find the strength he needs in himself with the help of his only friend his Lord and Saviour? Or will he give in to his fellow class mates and choose to pull the trigger.

But I've mastered how to tell someone just a little about myself but doing it in a way that makes the person in front of me think they know a lot. Jasper, somehow, sees through this every fucking time and it's absolutely infuriating. I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest.
