I was just 11 when I was snatched off the streets of Liverpool, England. I was never to be heard of again. This man was my captor, he was my father, but he got to be much more that longer I stayed. I wonder if I will get out of here alive.

As I leave, the cold British wind greets me. I zip up my sweater, and start walking home. Thanks to my parents, I don't have a car. "You're too irresponsible for a car, Courtney.
