Summer is turning fast into winter, King Peter is unhappily wallowing in liquor and the bully-victim Edmund has a secret that involves a woman, both a shock and excitement to Lucy.
Susan is especially aware of the mysterious and gloomy shadow that is consuming the people of Narnia in the same time as she tries to keep it together with Caspian and still have time for the little Prince, Eldarin.
