A girl's life is turned upside down after going to a party and encountering a mysterious man. She is given a "marking" shortly before this man disappears but not until he claimed that Jinx was the only girl in the whole world he deemed worthy to do a certain something for him. What that "something" is will turn her already dysfunctional life into further turmoil. Her family life shatters and her whole life along with her understanding of the world around her is changed forever. Jinx now has to decide if she chooses to embrace this knew and dangerous way of life or if she will rebel against this secretive, powerful man. That man in which she encountered that day of a party. A party that had apparently been planned ahead of time, before Jinx had even been born. Is her destiny predetermined?
